The Selection Process Of Aashwas Behala
Aashwas Behala invites written applications through News Paper, from the passed out academically brilliant but economically backward students for awarding monthly scholarship to them.
- After enlisting all the applications the sub-committee makes the sort-list for physical verifications at applicants’ residences. The no. of recipients are fixed as per budgetary provisions / limitations. Physical verifications have been made to thrice of the number of recipients fixed, under the provision of short listing norm.
- At the time of verifications, one printed booklet is given, with so many queries, to each and every short listed applicant to be filling-up with, by his/her own hand-writings. Inspecting members (at least two members in tandem) of Aashwas Behala shall furnish their inspection report and submit the reports to the specific authority / sub-committee, as quick as possible.
- Then the sub-committee examines thoroughly, each and every filled-up form along with the valued assessment basic reports under the jurisdiction of prescribed marking procedures, allotted for different head of merits, about the inclusion or exclusion of the said applicant / candidate.
- After that all the preliminary scrutinized forms / booklets are placed to the Governing body. Who again check /examine the forms / booklets and again send the residual booklets of fit / eligible applicants to the final authority i.e. impartial & independent Selectors for their evaluations, the final lap.
- The group of selectors / verifiers / evaluators are not the members of Aashwas Behala, though they are specifically connected / attached with educational fields.
- The selectors, after evaluation processes, do give marks to each and every eligible applicant & thus prepare a list of awardees in descending order.
- The said list(s) is / are stringently followed and stipends are distributed, henceforth, as directed by the established specific norms of financial bracket of individual stature.
